About the Journal
The Bulletin of Physics and Applied Mathematics is a journal that continues the tradition of the Scientific Bulletin. Physics which ceased publication at the end of 2021. The journal publishes articles by faculty and students of the Institute of Physics and the Institute of Mathematics at Lodz University of Technology, as well as staff of the Center for Mathematics and Physics Education at Lodz University of Technology and faculty from other universities, covering the latest research in all fields of physics, mathematics, and the pedagogy of physical and mathematical sciences.
Within the field of physical sciences, the journal focuses on topics related to:
- solid-state physics,
- optoelectronics,
- liquid crystals,
- statistical physics,
- mathematical physics,
- general relativity and field theory,
- quantum mechanics,
- physics education.
Within the field of mathematics, the topics covered include, among others:
- mathematical analysis,
- algebra,
- financial mathematics,
- mathematics education.
One issue is published annually. The journal publishes articles in English (preferred) and Polish. All papers are peer-reviewed. The journal is indexed in the BazTech database.
