Abstract
In the dissertation a future of flat textile products calls impact air-permeability in the dissertation was studied. A measuring stand of special construction necessary to obtain impact air-permeability has been constructed. The measuring stand serves for determination of the following time dependencies: air pressure drop, linear displacements of the piston, whose rapid movement downwards in the cylinder causes a transient airflow through a porous membrane, deflection of the fabric and electromagnet current. A measure of impact air-permeability, in the form of an index for arranging fabrics with respect to their flow properties has been proposed. The index results from the fabric behaviour differences that occurred during fixed and transient airflows. An inaccuracy of determination of impact air-permeability index was taken into consideration.
