Abstract
Spectral grade materials obtained in zone-melting process from commercially available 1-acenaphthenol and 9,10-dimethylanthracene were characterized electrically. The layers vaporized in 10-5 Torr vacuum posses high resistivity of the order of 1011-1012 Ωm and the concentration of traps lower than 1015cm-3.
