Authors should take into account that manuscripts submitted to the Biotechnology and Food Science must be original and unpublished including in conference proceeding or on web sites (excluding abstracts) and must not be under simultaneous consideration by another journal. All contributions will be peer-reviewed and selected on the basis of quality and originality of the work.

In order to prevent cases of scientific misconduct the Editor introduced a procedure, consistent with the guidelines of Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education, protecting against "ghostwriting" and "guest authorship".
