Implementation barriers of total productive maintenance in manufacturyin enterprises

Abstract

Productivity of production equipment (machinery) is one of the most significant determinants of the enterprise to be successful. Preparation process focused on increasing grade (rate) of machinery usage belongs to the scope of tasks in Total productive maintenance conception (TPM). In this article there are presented the author’s own research results concerning Implementation barriers of Total Productive Maintenance in manufacturing enterprises. Article presents 157 results of research concerning manufacturing enterprises located throughout Poland of different economy sectors.
