Abstrakt
W artykule zaprezentowano trzyetapowy proces zarządzania efektywnością pracownika (ZEP) oraz jego determinanty. Na ich tle wskazano na nowe wyzwania, jakim powinien sprostać kierownik liniowy w procesie pracy. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na niedostateczne kompetencje kierowników w zakresie ZEP oraz wpływ technologii w tym względzie, a także nowe wymogi w zakresie procesu pracy związane z elastycznymi formami zatrudnienia, brakiem zaufania pracowników do ocen okresowych, chronicznym brakiem czasu kierowników i wymaganiami młodego pokolenia pracowników wiedzy.
